safer internet day

Family Lives is very pleased to be supporting Safer Internet Day in 2017 celebrated across the world on Tuesday 7 February. The theme for Safer Internet Day 2017 is 'Be the change: unite for a better internet'

Safer Internet Day is run to get families, children and young people, and also their parents and teachers to raise awareness of working together to create a better and safer internet for everyone.

If you're a parent, there are lots of ways you can support your child when using the internet. You can read our guide to the latest social media apps and how old your children should be to use them, our parents' guide to Facebook, and Twitter
