How we’ll support you

Download our comprehensive fundraising pack which has everything you need to get started. Once registered, we’ll provide you with 1-1 support and guidance, and, most importantly, be there to cheer you on the day. 

Choose your race

Pick your favourite race from the thousands on offer from Run for Charity! You can just choose any race in your local area and raise sponsorship for Family Lives or Bullying UK. Once we receive your registration from Run for Charity we will be in touch to support you every step of the way.

From mud runs and dog jogs, 10Ks and marathons, to obstacle races and adrenalin challenges, there are plenty of events for you to choose from all across the country! For other challenges, including swimming and cycling, please email us at supportus@familylives.org.uk.


Simplyhealth Great North Run

Newcastle, Sunday 9 September 2018

Starting in Newcastle upon Tyne the 13.1 mile course is lined with supporters all the way from the iconic Tyne Bridge, right out towards the stunning coastline in South Shields. Since 1981 the world's greatest half marathon has welcomed over one million people across the finish line in South Shields. The Colour Run London

London, 10 June 2018

The Colour Run is a 5km running event is all about fun, fundraising and health. Runners are bombarded with paint as they run through the city streets. It’s all about enjoyment and you don’t need to be much of a runner to take part. All you have to do is, wear white at the start of the course and finish covered in colour.

 

Reebok Spartan Race

Midlands, 14 July 2018

An endurance weekend awaits at Marston Lodge - the home of Spartan UK. There’s nothing mediocre about this middle distance race. The Spartan Super offers the ideal blend between distance and speed. Offering racers a true athletic test. If you consider yourself a more seasoned athlete determined to push beyond excuses, you just might have the mettle for a Spartan Super. Serving up 24-29 Spartan Obstacles and 8-10 miles of rugged terrain, the Spartan Super spares no one. 


Zombie Evacuation Race

East Anglia, 16 September 2018

The Zombie Evacuation Race is a 5k fun run designed to give you a one-off experience you will never forget. All runners or “evacuees” start with 3 lifebelts and your aim is to prevent those merciless zombies from hypothetically biting you 3 times and transforming you into one of their own! When you reach the safe zone at the end of the course you will be recognised as either a survivor (with at least one life belt) or infected (no lifebelts). Survivors receive the coveted survivors medal and the infected receive their infected medal and our taken to the neutralisation zone to be terminated!


Bear Grylls Survival Race - 30KM

London, 29 September 2018

This is the 30Km race which truly separates the Ultimate Survivors from the Survivors. This year it will step up again with a larger field size and more challenges, even Bear himself had to ask “if we were serious” when we agreed on the final scope for this epic event. Only 30Km, 100+ Obstacles and 10 Survival Challenges stand between you and becoming an Ultimate Survivor! Ages 16+. Enter now for this challenge.
