Early Learning Volunteer (Newcastle)

You can make a difference to families with a 2 year old child by helping to develop their skills and confidence by: 

• Joining our team and benefiting from 16 hours skills training and ongoing personal development and support.
• Working with a parent and child in their home twice weekly for half an hour to support learning and development.
• Supporting play with a range or toys and books that families are then able to keep.
• Supporting the skills development and knowledge of family members

Be part of a programme with proven results in increasing attainment for children as they progress through their school years and beyond. This is great opportunity to build experience in early years education and child development. We ask for a commitment of 15 months for between 2.5 and 5 hours per week. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
