Volunteer Peer Supporter - Parents Matter Antenatal and Perinatal Wellbeing Service

Family Lives is a national charity providing parenting and family support to families. The Parents Matter Antenatal & Perinatal Wellbeing Service is being delivered in the London Borough of Camden, to support families during the antenatal and perinatal period (pregnancy and baby’s first two years), through volunteer peer support.

If you can spend a few hours of your free time each week to build a positive partnership with a parent/ carer/family who is looking for help to balance their family life, we really want to hear from you.

Often, most families need a listening ear to talk through and help solve their problems. This positive support boosts parents’ confidence and the information you provide, gives them choices of other support services available for them. As a Peer Supporter, you can help families improve their lives, and support them to create positive environments for themselves and their children.
