You will need a laptop or PC, robust Wi-Fi and a confidential place to volunteer at home. We will provide you with training to enable you to provide Live Chat information, advice, guidance and support on any aspect of parenting and family life. Minimum skills requirement is an aptitude and confidence in expressing yourself in the written word and an ability to type at a minimum of 50 wpm. Once you have been trained, volunteers sign up for a regular weekly 4-hour shift. With the flexibility of volunteering from home yet still being very much a part of the Family Lives live chat team.
