In a child's early years a little extra support can make a huge difference. Our volunteers help children with developmental delays in Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea learn through play. Through our ParentChild+ programme, they've already helped more than 200 two-year-olds get ready for school, ready to learn and ready to shine. As a volunteer, you can support children as a Early Years Home Visitro and/or in the group sessions that take place in Local Children's Centres.
If you can spare three hours a week over the 9 to 10 months, we'd love to hear from you. In return we'll give you:
Our ParentChild+ Programme helps parents to get their children ready for school, ready to learn and ready to shine.
Parents in Westminster or Kensington & Chelsea, who are worried about their child's communication and social skills are referred to us. Our trained Volunteer Early Years Home Visitors work with the parents and child each week using educational toys, books and games to help the child learn and develop. This is a free programme for children aged 21 months to two and a half years old. Parents are visited weekly with free toys, books and games.
