Energise Families Hounslow

Energise Families provides befriending support to families in Hounslow with at least one child aged 3-11. We offer weekly one to one support to parents for up to 15 sessions with the aim of boosting parent and child wellbeing, improving family relationships, and increasing physical activity levels.

Our team can:

  • provide support, advice and a listening ear
  • help parents feel more confident and encourage them to explore solutions
  • support families to be more physically active
  • come up with lots of ideas for fun activities in and outside the home

It provides helpful and practical information on some common hopes and fears expressed by both the person in prison and the family on the outside. Featuring quotes from ex-prisoners and their partners, the booklet covers issues ranging from the practicalities of finding employment to getting to know each other again and re-establishing a relationship.
